Kokedama - Asparagus

£69.00

Kokedama is a traditional Japanese form of bonsai in which tropical plants are transformed into living sculptural art pieces -- simply translated, kokedama means "moss ball". Though not true ferns, these members of the Asparagus genus get their nickname from the plumes of delicate frond-like foliage that characterise these textural plants. If you would rather not string up a hanging garden in your home, display kokedama on altar-like stands and arrange in artistic groupings. Either way, the results are extraordinarily appealing.

Moss ball diameter measures approx 15cm. Plant measures approx. 30cm tall.

*Please bear in mind, each plant is a unique individual with its own quirky character and looks.

Asparagus Ferns thrive in bright indirect light. To water, simply soak your kokedama in a sink or basin until thoroughly saturated. Includes detailed care instructions.

DELUXE: Comes with the perfect glass vessel and stones to contain your kokedama when resting on surfaces or for draining after watering. Also comes with strings so can be hung up as well.
